It completely avoids the battery being damaged, avoids the shortening of battery life caused by over-discharge or short-circuit, and completely avoids the possibility of repeated shutdown and damage to the protection board.


4. The HOLD function is very simple to release. Just remove the reason for the protection. For example, short-circuit protection, as long as the short-circuit condition is cancelled (disconnect the load), it can enter the normal working state. The release of overcharge HOLD is to disconnect the charger and connect the load to work. (The over-temperature protection can work normally only after the temperature drops). The overcharge protection temperature can be set. The gold-plated pad ensures easy and reliable spot welding and soldering of the nickel tape.


5. The protection board is divided into a single battery protection board and a multi-battery protection board. Mobile phone batteries, MP3, MP4 and other digital batteries generally use a single cell to supply power, so that only one cell is required to protect, and the single cell is used for protection. The protection board of the battery cell; when encountering products that require the use of large-capacity batteries or high-voltage batteries, the batteries need to be used in series or in parallel (series can increase the voltage and increase the internal resistance; the parallel capacity is added to increase Battery capacity, internal resistance unchanged). This is the need to use a multi-battery protection board. This protection board does not protect the whole after series or parallel, but needs to protect each single battery. That is, the multi-battery protection board can protect each A battery, so as to ensure the service life of the battery, and will not cause damage to the battery itself due to overcharging and overdischarging.


6. The components included in the protection board generally include: control IC 1PCS, MOSFET 1~2PCS, Giebisch precision resistor 2~4PCS, PCB. This is a simple example of a general protection board for a single battery, with different functions and materials used in different places.
